Essence Apprentice Teachers Program

Essence Apprentice Teachers Program (EATP)

The EATP is an advanced training for people who want to become teachers or group leaders teaching Essence Training material. It provides a path of training and supervision, giving hands-on leadership experience within and between the modules. You will learn to use and to teach the principles of meditation, energy and Essence.

The program offers some of the most intensive group leadership training available for people who are deeply committed to inner work and world betterment.

Timeframe: T2.5 year program – covering 7 consecutive modules. You can join at any time.

Essence Apprentice Teachers Program (EATP)

Participation in 7 modules

Mentoring and coaching during the 7 modules by Kabir & Ritama & Margaretha Curriculum development conference calls

18 group-tele-trainings (phone or skype, approx. once a month) with Kabir or Ritama

7 individual personal coachings/supervisions with Margaretha Bessel

Enrollment requirements

Graduation from or participation in the Group Leaders Training

Graduation from or participation in the Group Leaders Training

An interview with Kabir and Ritama

Preferably experience as a therapist and/or group leader outside of Essence Training or equivalent experience

Costs: € 700 per each of the 7 training segments

Enrollment requirements

  • Homework: Taking 2 Inner Work sessions a month between modules;
  • Development of training materials (group exercises, structures, etc.);
  • Running small programs between modules (number and type individually determined). These can be along the faculty lines and will be advertised on the ET site or in your existing line of work.
  • Assigned readings: f.ex. “Esoteric Psychology I and II” by Alice Bailey; “Indigo-Adults” and “Energy of Love” by Jaffe/Davidson; “Eastern Body Western Mind” by Anodea Judith;
  • Daily meditation (minimum 30 min.)

The program will include:

Mentoring and coaching during the module with the Essence Training founders Kabir and Ritama and with senior teacher Margaretha, as well as 7 individual coaching/supervision with Margaretha, approx. once a month a telephone conference and coaching with Kabir or Ritama, including evaluation sessions and astrological guidance with Kabir

Holding specific roles and responsabilities during a module, f.ex. staff-coordinator, logistics-coordinator, counselor

Giving orientation to new participants at the beginning of the module, f.ex. by teaching basic energy balancing skills, talking about principles like “Inner work”, “Cathartic work”, “Essence”, the technique of “Being with” et al.

Leading of small groups within the larger group program

Training focused on spiritual-, leadership-, counseling- and communication-skills to deepen your leadership

Requirements during the program:

Announcements

Pulling group together

Warm-up exercises

Co-leading large group processes

Leading pieces of Energy-Balancing

Outside of group:

Mentoring students

 

First Day:

K, R, M, meeting with apprentices (attunement, curriculum, theme of the day etc.

Apprentices and staff meeting (logistical planning)

13.30-14.00

K, R, M, join the meeting

14.15-14.45

Orientation: apprentices start small groups with new participants

Staff-coordinator holds staff-meeting for sharing and cleansing
